If you knit or would like to learn to knit, we have a place for your talents in the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Care and the love knitting are combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Besides knitting, the shawls can be crocheted, woven, sewn, quilted, or machine knitted. Currently, there is a further need to spread the Spirit within our Church to expand the efforts of the Moore Knitting Circle, who has presented 13 prayer shawls to members of our congregation during the past three years.
