The United Methodist
Women of FAUMC hold monthly meetings as well as individual Cirlce
meetings. FAUMC Women have three Circles:
Davis-Meekins-Petre Circle
French
Circle
Moore
Circle
The
FAUMC Women support numerous charities throughout the Great Neck community.
Davis-Meekins-Petre
Circle: The
Davis-Meekins-Petre circle meets the third Wednesday of the months
September through May at 11:00 A.M. at the church. At each meeting
we have an interesting program or speaker and also support a charitable
mission each time. We sponsor a fund raiser during the year (usually
a church-wide yard sale) to help support our United Methodist Women's
District obligations to the Methodist Conference.
At present we have 24 active and 2 Honorary Members. We welcome anyone
interested in joining our circle . For additional information please

Moore
Circle News: The
Trustees have given approval to the Moore Circle for a facelift on
the narthex and Welcome Center. The trophy case will be used to display
items from Sunday School. Silk plants, a wall hanging, cushions for
the pew bench and items on the shelf completed the project. Enjoy!
French
Circle News: The
French Circle meets once a month in the home of one of our members.
There's lots of laughter, goodies to eat, shared concerns and planning
for our focus ministry of women and children. Each member attends
when she is able. We would LOVE to see new faces at our gatherings!
