"The Frank"
combines fun, Biblical teaching and study, and mission work to develop
young Christians into spiritually centered adults. Weekly meetings
include a Bible lesson, group activities and dinner.
The youth are
involved in numerous community activities including visiting elderly
patients at the local retirement and nursing facilities, serving meals
to the needy at the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center and preparing
food baskets for families during the holiday season.
Annual activities
include devoting a week of their
time supporting Project
Crossroads in Marion, Va. Project Crossroads is an outreach ministry,
supported by the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church,
designed to address the basic needs of people in a seven county area
in Southwest Virgin, alleviate human suffering and provide an avenue
to witness the gospel of Jesus Christ.
A long standing
tradition, a favorite of the youth, is
our annual ski trip to Seven Springs ski resort in Pennsylvania.
