Help Us Build a Playground!

We have embarked upon an exciting project to provide a fun and safe playground for the children of Francis Asbury UMC and the surrounding community. We pray that you will support us in our quest through your prayers, time and/or financial support.
The Playground Project is listed as one of the church's goals for 2010. Our goal is to raise $21,000.00 and complete the installation by July 4, 2010.
The fenced in playground will lie on the south end of the back lot and will be visible from the street. (It will occupy the place where the large storage shed currently sits.)

Our Vision:
- Create a safe, inviting, fun place for children and their families from FAUMC and the community to play.
- Build a safe, accessible, sustainable structure and surrounding area that promotes child development and health.
- Create a playground environment that the whole congregation of FAUMC can feel connected to and proud of.
Giving Opportunities:
Prayers: Pledge to pray for the church, the fundraising project, the building team, and the children who will enjoy the playground.
Volunteer Your Time: Pledge to be part of the volunteer team that runs the fundraising events or installs the various components of the playground. Please specify in what area you would like to volunteer on the donation form.
Engraved Bricks: Purchase a 4x8 in or 8x8 in engraved brick in honor or memory of a loved one. The bricks will be laid at the entrance to the playground. If you are interested in ordering a brick,
use our online order form, or
print a copy of the order form to complete and return to the church office.
Please submit all brick orders by June 23, 2010.
Special Offerings: Pledge to donate specified funds in one of the following levels:
- Toddler - $250 - $499
- Preschool - $500 - $749
- Kindergarten - $750 - $999 (includes 4x8 in brick)
- Elementary - $1000 - $2499 (includes 4x8 in brick)
- Middle School - $2500 - $4999 (includes 8x8 in brick)
- High School Level - $5000+ (includes 8x8 in brick)
