Online Giving

The ministries and needs of FAUMC are ongoing. Your continued financial support is crucial during this time.
Many of our church expenses remain the same even though we are not in the building.  This is a difficult time for many and while our financial giving is down, we really appreciate those who are willing and able to support FAUMC.  Your contributions make a difference. Just today we were able to provide housing and food to a person who lost his job this week.

Church Building Closed

Our church building is closed to everyone at this time and we are not allowed to hold meetings at the church.  We have been thoroughly cleaning the church and it is imperative that we continue to avoid having the Covid-19 virus on the premises and avoid being carriers.
Our church staff and preschool staff will be working from home. For updated information regarding FAUMC, please check your email and this website. During this time if you need to contact the church staff you can reach out to them by email or telephone.  Thanks for working together for best safety practices and protection for all!
A Message From Pastor Ed

Know that I am praying for you all during this trying time. God’s message to us is always one of Hope and we want to make sure that we are not functioning out of a place of fear, but out of trust, faith and the presence of God who loves us and is with us!

Truly we are all in this together!  Even though our building is closed, we want to continue to be supportive and caring of one another by practicing best safety practices, not spreading the virus, and staying connected.  We also want to be of help to those who are in need or are in higher risk.  If you are in need of groceries, medicines or even need errands run, please contact us.  We would love be there for you while assuring to be safe.

Here are a few things that you need to know this week:

  • We are excited to welcome our two newest staff members, Rebecca Willet our new Organist/Pianist, and Brantley Smith our interim Modern Worship Leader.
  • The mission and ministry of FAUMC is continuing!  Many groups are meeting on the Internet using platforms such as Zoom Video Conferencing and are finding creative ways to stay connected. Our Preschool is continuing to provide teaching and curriculum online to our special Preschool friends who miss each other and can connect virtually.  If you would like to host a Zoom conference call, please contact Pastor Ed for the login permissions (pastor@francisasburyumc.org).
  • As you go about your week, reflect on the following scriptures:
      • “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)
      • “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  John 16:33 (NLT)
