Online Giving

The ministries and needs of FAUMC are ongoing. Your continued financial support is crucial during this time.
Many of our church expenses remain the same even though we are not in the building.  This is a difficult time for many and while our financial giving is down, we really appreciate those who are willing and able to support FAUMC.
Your contributions make a difference!

Church Building Closed

Our church building is closed to everyone at this time and we are not allowed to hold meetings at the church.  We have been thoroughly cleaning the church and it is imperative that we continue to avoid having the Covid-19 virus on the premises and avoid being carriers.
Our church staff and preschool staff will be working from home. During this time if you need to contact the church staff, correspondence through phone calls and emails are still available. Mail sent to the church is also being received and processed, including contribution checks.
For updated information regarding FAUMC, please check your email and this website.
Thanks for working together for best safety practices and protection for all!
A Message From Pastor Ed

I am excited to share with you that a tentative target date for reopening for in-person worship has been set! We are planning to open for in-person worship on September 13th!  This is the Sunday following Labor Day.  This date will give our Healthy Church Team the time needed to continue to prepare and will also allow us to hear about plans to reopen public schools.  Our commitment is to reopen for worship with a safe and welcoming environment for everyone!  The date of September 13th is a target date set by our Healthy Church Team and may be subject to change depending on changing conditions, but we are excited about the plan to once again worship in-person.  When we do come back together we will be following all to the conditions and requirements (the completing of a Health Form, the wearing of masks and social distancing will be required, no singing, sanitizing & cleaning.)  These items will certainly continue to be a part of our “new normal.”  We will be sharing more details with you in the coming weeks.
While we plan to return to in-person worship, we will also continue our online worship services. Streaming online will be an ongoing ministry and mission of FAUMC from this point forward.  Even when we return, some may not be ready or feel comfortable attending worship in person.  Some may continue to prefer online worship and others may watch who otherwise would not have heard the good news of Jesus.
Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers! As a result of your continued financial support and the PPP Loan, our church is doing well financially.  We are meeting all of our ministry expenses and have continued to contribute 100% of our District and Conference Apportionments!  This has been possible only by the grace of God and through your faithfulness in the midst of these challenging times.

As we move forward we may not know what the future holds, but we do know who holds our future in His hands!  We may not be able to change our circumstances, but do we know that the Lord is using these and all circumstances to change us!

God is good!  All the time!

Grace, peace & health,
Pastor Ed

Scriptures of the Week
As you go through your week, be sure to take a few moments to pause and reflect on God’s Word.

Luke 16:10

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.”

Psalm 118:24

“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Colossians 3:22

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”

Psalm 30

“I will lift You up, O Lord, for You have lifted me up.”

Encouraging Tuesday Video

Join Pastor Emeritus, Bob Friend, for an encouraging message titled:

“O love that will not let me go”

O love that will not let me go,

I rest my weary soul in thee.

I give thee back the life I owe,

that in thine oceans depths its flow.

May richer fuller be.

O light followest all my way,

I yield my flickering torch to thee.

My heart restores its borrowed ray,

that in thy sunshine’s blaze its day.

May brighter fairer be.

O joy that seekest me through pain,

I cannot close my heart to thee.

I chase the rainbow through the rain,

and feel the promise is not vain.

That morn shall tearless be.

O cross that liftest up my head,

I dare not ask to fly from thee.

I lay in dust’s life’s glory dead,

and from the ground there blossoms red.

Life that shall endless be.”
